What was the dumbest rule your high school had?

I remember back in 9th grade at my high school I had this teacher who was also a part time administrator and during the periods when he wasn't teaching class he would walk the halls and he would give detention slips to anyone he saw in the hall... even kids will hall passes that was going to the restroom. Had all the kids like , he would say "I'm training yall for the real world, when you're grown you won't be allowed to go on restroom breaks or you would be fired." Rest assured everyone was like to him

They had a strict rule that when school lets out you had about 5 minutes to get to your bus. If you were even 5 seconds late the bus driver would close the door in your face and hit you with the and pull off.

It was so much BS because there were a lot of classroom trailers on the opposite side of the campus.

shyt was stupid boi. Clear plastic backpacks only. That one got shutdown in a couple weeks tho. No hats. Seniors and juniors couldn't have motorcycles on campus.

Teachers and principals knew we had the burner on us and the sistas kept blades in their mouths but we NEVER had metal detectors.

My high school had the same thing where if u came in tardy, u got a detention and if u accumulated 7 detentions without attending any of the actual detention u got suspended for 3 days. I got hit with that twice. fukk I look like going to some fukk ass detention.
I hated we couldn't wear shorts in school. Seemed mad stupid. Hat I guess I can understand but shorts? Why? A few times we'd wear shorts and wear sweats under them and just roll the sweatpants down whenever security came. They were legit cause it was pretty fukkin retarded. But they can't send us home because we technically wearing pants . But anyways we always skipped class roaming the halls and finally after about a couple weeks of us doing that one of the security dudes finally asked us to cut it out cause we were getting them in trouble with the principle. He was one of the cool security dudes so we stopped doing it.

My school had the same ridiculous rule.

Coach would do a random check for guns and shyt because our metal detectors weren't shyt.


We lost our pep rallys because nikkas wanted to fight at the pep rally.


My little brother had to play All away games because, nikkas from Wossman high (Monroe,La) started a fight on the football field.

After Columbine, we had to start wearing id badges. I heard they made us start wearing them incase someone shot the school up they could identify our bodies. Anyway, if you forgot your id you got detention. It got so bad with kids having detention they bumped it up from 30 minutes to an hour. I know I had so many detentions when it was 30 minutes i just considered it a study hall.
