i think it really started with Forver, because he was using all new equipment and i've read that he used the DDrum for all the drums on Forever.

the flood wiped out a lot of his old beats and he was rapidly gaining more & more new toys so playing around with them lead to a new style. honey dipped dust blunts helped a lot too lol

yeah, Forever marked his transition from analogue to digital which was a big part of bobby digital.

the first beat that i remember that had the bobby digital sound was Second Coming with Tekitha off forever. This shyt would fit in easily on either Bobby Digital album. All its missing is a dodododododododododo

It definitely started with the Forever album. No one can tell me when Rza created Black Shampoo that My Love Is Digi/ Domestic Violence wasn't birthed from that.
