I would say the last album I wpuld consider classic would be Reloaded by Roc Marciano.

Be by Common, MBDTF by Ye, and maybe GKMC. Mixtape wise - I still think 1999 by Joey Badass is classic. I'll throw So Far Gone there but it's authenticity is in question.

Two projects that I listened to on a whim and thought "These are artist-defining, refreshingly original, and exhibit a progressive sound that'll probably influence other artists."

With "SremmLife", I can totally see someone playing that album years from now after Rae Sremmurd has grown up and going, "Aayyyy....there was nothing but hits on here!"
