i've got good quality speakers and headphones so its defo the album mixing
Someone remastered the album to reduce the overly bright sound and I bump that

I agree 1000 percent.

Compton is dr dres worst sounding album to date ... The high end is piercing ... You can't fully enjoy the album because of it. The production is good but that album is ruined by the mixing ... Don't know what he was thinking with that

It doesnt ruin the album but it's noticeable in places

Now that I think about it the production on Compton was very crisp and concise, but my choice would be TPAB. Kendrick was the fukking curator on that and made it sound exactly how he envisioned it, and I don't care if the coli don't like it that album still goes.
