in DMC4:special edition for PS4/Xbone there is extra paid DLC. this is a HD re-release of an 8-year old game for fukks sake! :mindblown: everything should be included in this package :comeon:
:dahell:

It IS included...all that DLC is completely optional and for those who'd rather pay instead of putting in hours grinding and playing the harder difficulties.

Destiny. They cut out content that was supposed to be in the original game and split into 3 dlcs. Then, they released 'The Taken King', which cost the price of a full game and effectively made everything you earned in Year One useless. It also blocked you from playing most of the previously available game modes, unless you bought the dlc. Not to mention all the bullshyt currencies they kept on adding to force to you to grind for weapons/items.

That shyt was criminal. Bungie will never see another penny from me.

Microsoft making the Xbox 360 and using DVD that obviously wasn't big enough (especially considering you devs couldn't even use all of the damn DVD).

They started this DLC bullshyt because they chose the wrong storage medium and encouraged these fakkit publishers to sell the shyt they couldn't fit on their wack as DVDs as DLC so they could run our pockets even more. Now look what we stuck wit.

Crusader Kings 2 takes the spot easily. All the DLCs add up to $159 including the base game. And the base game is incomplete.

Arkham Knight too

A bunch of skins and character missions that you can beat in 10 mins. I think Batgirl was the longest one but not by much

DLC is generally OK.
After seeing it evolve most of my concerns have gone away.
Its rare for key content to be found only in DLC. Its OK when its just some optional stuff that doesn't affect the core story.
I've found that DLC isn't absolutely necessary at all to fully enjoy a game, and that's the way it should be.

This ticky tacky "season pass", 4 new maps, "map pack dlc", 3 new fighters on fighting games is new school shyt.

Expansions been around forever, but they were pretty much version 1.5 of the game (until #2 in the series came out, if ever).

Map packs used to be free (now like $20 :mjlol: ) and they were a lot more than the 2-4 new maps these fukk shyt companies peddling now. EA/infinity ward "dlcs" are a joke :camby:

Expanions took years to develop themselves. Now they are pretty much developed when the original game is developed and sold later even though the content was there already.

That is changing, it may not be a key component but a lot of the advantageous aspects to playing the game are found in DLC now i.e Destiny.

The more gamers accept DLC like this the more Devs will continue to butt fukk us, I'm ashamed to say it bit the console gamer community are fukking dopes which is why you can sell separate parts of one game for full price almost. No reason why a large, details, decent game cant come complete without need for DLC or endless patches that are bigger than the game

Gotta build a PC and escape this nonsense breh:martin:

PC has been doing the same exact thing for years. Expansions and patches are only relatively new to the console crowd. There have been isolated instances, but it's still very rare for a company to omit key components from their core game and add them later via dlc. Destiny added more levels and guns, but the core experience is still fully enjoyable without the expansions. Off the top of my head I think I've purchased 3 DLCs in my entire life and all 3 I waited until they were on sale. I paid like $20 at best buy if I remember right for Destiny TTK which for the amount of content it added was a great deal. I understand the concerns gamers have, I was part of that crowd, I'm just saying as time has gone on I've learned it isn't necessarily as bad as people make it seem.

You should realise that gaming industry is money focussed not actually making decent games / gaming experiences for the users. we get more trash games now than decent games. You have too much good faith in these companies breh:ufdup: give them an inch they'll take a mile in your ass. "it's not that bad" is always what you hear before the bomb drops:francis:
