when the shyt hits the fan if you one of the ones that managed to escape the wrath of the feds, you're supposed to support the ones who got caught up. does it sound stupid to other people? of course, but then again they're criminals and don't ascribe to the same moral/ethical codes as everyone else :yeshrug:

Jeezy was big before he started fukking with BMF. At least in the south he was

:mjlol:
Never heard anyone say that dumb shyt before.

Trick was hot in the 90s his run was way over by time Jeezy came on the scene.

nah @shopwreck is right ...

Jeezy last album before he got the BMF cosign sounded like Trick Daddy all the way

Listen to COME SHOP WIT ME

And it wasn't.surprising a lot of those guys in central ga (Macon) to southeastern ga (savannah) either sounded like Trick or Pac

I know this personally cause i went back to college to get an MBA in southeast ga and was managing one of Lil J aka Jeezy's pathas Lil Vic a Gangsta Disciple out of Dublin who ran with a Chitown rapper named Scar who booked for a few shows.....

And for the record Jeezy was NOT big before BMF he wasn't even big in central and southeast ga....

The biggest rapper in those areas was CAMOFLAUGE and his counterpart GANGSTA BOLO who not only put Gucci on but also introduced Gucci and Jeezy to each other in ATL

Back when Gucci was Cripping..

Jeezy was a trick daddy clone
Realest nikka since Trick Daddy, looking for some gangsta shyt, this is it daddy :blessed:

Jeezy had too many different styles on the album, but Trick Daddy clone is not something I would label him. Definitely inspired by Trick and Master P though, which he se obviously made known with all the shout outs and having him on as a feature on like 4 projects.

I'd say it was Dj Drama and Shawty Redd that made him find his shyt, and that was a year after that double album with all types of songs. Early 04, but he was already fukking with BMF at that point. Young dudes need some time to find themselves :manny:

From

And Trick/Pac hybrid

To

Not that big of a change minus the emphasized ad-libs and production

Jesus did used to sound like Trick. You know how you listen to someone and can easily tell who influenced them? That’s exactly like how Come Shop With Me sounded. I remember thinking damn, Trick gotta be this nikka favorite rapper. I remember I got Come Shop With Me from that bootleg spot disguised as a daycare across the street from some apartments in Atlanta. :mjlol: At Come Shop With Me being double disc named hard and soft

Dude was a hybrid Trick, Master P, & Pastor Troy before the BMF cosign.

So jeezy was with BMF during Trap or Die & Can’t Ban the Snowman? Cause he never shouted them out on them mixtapes unless I’m missing something

Their are numerous references and Shoutouts to BMF

he says during a interlude how a lot.of street n1ggas can vouch for him..

And namedrops junior boss...

"Ask J BO!!"

Drama also says loudly Shout out to BMF.....illz P

And can't ban the snowman came.after the raids but he was still mad.cool with a lot of BMF cats like Pee Wee Roscoe whom he featured on that IM.TELLING YA track off the Gangsta Grills followup where he says a BMF catchphrase they said often

THE EARTH IS STILL OUR TURF!

Jeezy didn’t keep it real

Listen to Pimp C’s interview

If you bmf when shyt is lit, you need to be bmf when the feds come

How much he putting up for Meech appeal?
He owe it to him...if it wasn’t for Meech showing him love and Gucci killing his homeboy...nobody would kno him
His first album went wood he was biting Trick Daddy swag then

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven
Bruh none of us know what was going on none of that chit. We don’t know what kind of fbi pressure could’ve been on jeezy. It’s silly to talk like you know.

The Feds didn't pursue any investigation into those claims of Jeezy distributing cocaine for BMF

Because the "witness" Ralphie Simms was proven to have fabricated those claims based on cross examination of himself and his own sister whom claimed Mr. Simms namedropped Jeezy and a few other names to better his chances at a sentence reduction for cooperating..

Scribd.com provides part 1 of the Ralphie Simms court transcripts involving the Mexican plug who snitched on Meech and the activities of the St Louis BMF hub and their relationship to the Los Angelas clique of which Simms was aligned with

The other 2.parts are available on Pacer.gov. Website with the final part being only a short excerpt with the rest being.deemed UNSEALED due to the open cases still.pending with the St Louis BMF mob and the Gulf Cartel

as you can see... everything involved in a court case is public knowledge... jeezy wasn't selling a damn thing and knew good and well he didn't have shyt to do with international drug trafficking.. he was perfectly fine playing that image tho... and riding BMF's name to further the belief that he was Mr. 17-5

soon as shyt hit the fan, nikka couldn't be found... but had time to fake beef with rick ross, cause ross was going harder for his team than he was... then got the call from meech to leave ross alone cause meech fukked with him hard for doing that song.... and still..... nothing from your man huh? not even shoutout? fbi like "now jeezy we know we got you on a 5-10 at least... but if you promise not to scream BMF on your next album, we gonna let you go... but keep talking that coke shyt and how you a real coke boy and how you was moving boatloads.... but just don't say BMF and you good"

come on now
