Be Easy came out a whole 2-3 years before Ross even dropped a song :dahell:

My god it’s some idiotic takes in here
He means the producer named Rick Rock from the West not Rick Ross the rapper.

“Curious” by Tony Yayo. Not that So Seductive was setting the world on fire or anything (it was an alright club song and minor hit), but to follow that up with a song strictly for the ladies when women are not attracted to Tony Yayo at all was a mistake :pachaha:

Yayo is that dude but this is 100% true. Not exactly what you'd expect from the thoughts of a predicate felon.

Yup. Should’ve went to I Know You Don’t Love Me as the second or even Pimpin’ which they ended the Curious video with (but this was before music videos were put on YouTube by record labels as a normal thing, so you’d actually have to sit through the Curious video on TV to get to that part smh).

Joe Budden - Fire

Pump it Up was a huge hit, played everywhere, on soundtracks and video games. If Joe releases a single that matches it's popularity, he easily goes platinum and his music career goes in a different direction. I think his debut didn't even go gold.

nikkas in this thread naming hit records :mjlol:

bobby bytch comes to mind for me because I remember when the snippet was out and it was viral and people were hyped for it then the whole song came out and nikkas was like ":ld: thats it?"
nikkas in here naming legit hit songs :mjlol: Timmy Turner, Like This and Bobby bytch are the right kind of examples

Add that Troy Ave Doo Doo shyt to the list

BAD follow up after All About the Money

North Jersey but I miss Cali :sadcam:
Those songs.... Were ass and a precursor to his "music career" being shortened
Regardless how you feel.. those songs were hit records that charted. Massacre had some bangers on it, but the club/pop/radio songs is what got people to go out and actually buy the CD.

The only precursor if you want to go there is 50 was a hypocrite. He killed Ja Rule for singing and that helped turn fans against Ja, but then he turns around and use the same formula to get radio spins.
