What was Wrong with Iron Man 3?

The problem with the movie is that the trailers gave people the impression that this was going to be a darker, more action focused movie. The trailer starts with Iron Man laid out in the snow, suit barely working. I thought it was going to be like The Dark Knight Rises where he loses everything and has to come back. Instead it was a more funny movie and like someone else said it was more focused on Tony Stark than Iron Man.

movie was just weird and couldn't decide what it wanted to be..

too much comedy.. made it extremely hard to take dramatic parts seriously while characters are cracking "witty" jokes. Even the dumbass henchmen are cracking jokes with the wit of tony stark.

the trailer also showed all the action set pieces in the movie.

and why the fukk didn't he just call all those suits to his rescue at the beginning of the fukking movie?

Although I thought the twist was funny, at the same time I thought the mandarin was gonna be a badass villain.

I hated how this movie made all those suits of armor look like cotton candy. They were getting destroyed left and right. I didn't like the pacing and the writing.

The movie also didn't know if it wanted to be serious (the PTSD), or too Disney (the child sidekick).

Movie was being called Ironman (less) 3 for a reason.

Forgettable at best, especially after DC blessed us this year.
