What was yall 1st day of high school like

It wasn't that long ago... I had trouble looking for my classes because the school was so big.

Hahahahah This thread brings so many memories back, even with the fact that the school system is different were I live.

august 96...it was rainy...and i stayed looking at the map they gave us in order to find out classrooms...i reconnected with cats that i went to elementary school with but went to different middle schools...shyt was peace..that first freshman friday though ..nikkas were getting their asses whooped on these buses...not me though..i escaped

First day of high school happened twice for me because in my city there was a separate school for freshman and then on the other side of town it was a newer school remolded for the rest of the students. I can't quite remember much but I remember seeing a few nikkas that my brother knew in there from the streets and I'm like this dude kinda old to be here. It was fun as heck though being in that school. It was closed down for about a year and then reopened in 2003 for one year for us.
That shyt was literally behind my old building.
East Orange High.

That shyt isn't even there no more they tore it down and built a new school there. So much memories. shyt was dangerous too, lots of gang banging.


The following year I went to the newer school close to my JHS which was beautiful at the time. New lockers, fresh gym and everything. I was SOUPED to go there. MADDDD bytches omg!! I remember almost falling up the flight of stairs outside the school.

The front right here would be filled with people every morning. School was really nice looking for something in the hood.

I been gone from NJ a minute, I was supposed to go to Upsala, heard they combined all EO schools to make it one highschool.
