first and only car i had my dad got me to practice drive in... i drove it ONE TIME... and never got my license.. didnt prioritize right. it was some old car but it was pretty decent... all i remember is it had the word 'sun' in it.....

I'm almost 21, never have owned my own car but always told myself that I would skip to luxury...fukk a hooptie. Now that I have got this internship for a whole year though I plan on paying off last year's tuition...my final year's tuition, and last but not least saving for a car that I can cop when I graduate and secure a job among other things.

I hope to save at least $10K through this and to put it in a tax free savings account and to use that as either a down payment (too high?) for a used whip or to save a little more and cop in all cash.

Currently I hope to cop a Volvo S60/S80 or Lexus IS300/250.

Would you guys suggest I save for a hooptie instead first though for maybe 3 or 4 gs Just to use in the meantime and learn how to take care of a car...or to go straight for gusto

My first car.. 94 Chrysler Concorde. That shyt had a few issues from sitting in my uncles back yard for 3 years, but I got all that shyt fixed, put a after market head unit in it. I crashed shyt while i was driving home from work.I Bought some bungee cords to keep the hood from flying up, and kept it movin.

Got this piece of shyt afterward, 02 Chrysler Concorde Limited, and had a bunch stupid shyt go wrong with it out of the blue (engine over heating, A/C, climate control unit stopped working, a leak in the floor under tha driver's seat, the hood wouldn't open, interior lights would flicker for no reason, the fake leather steering wheel would melt in the summmer and stain my hands, transmisson was rough as fukk........etc.

I stopped fukking with american cars (all makes n models) and went the japanese route.
