Busser/Dishwasher at this banquet place. Loved it as a 15-16 year old, stayed for a year. Bosses were super chill and the single mother waitresses was cute(some of em). Probably could’ve smashed some of em if I had been older

Around this time of year I’d walk outta there with $150 in my pocket every night due to graduation, prom, weddings.

Thought I was balling yall :russ: I was the first one in my group of friends with a job and car so my boys thought I was too. Now I spend $150 at the grocery store sometimes, how times change :wow:

First job at a company I was at 15 and I was a chicken breader at Old Country Buffet on the weekends.

But I always worked. When I was 8 I helped my older brother deliver papers. Started cutting grass and shoveling driveways for money at 10.

I was 13 when I got my first official job.. I worked at Jerry’s subs and pizza... I remember I got blamed for my cash register being short and the owner docked my pay because of it even though I wasn’t the only one using the register. My mother came up there and cussed him out since he was basically accusing me of taking the money..
He ended up giving me what he took back but the one stealing was the assistant manager. I would work a full 8 hour shift on the weekends, which wasn’t supposed to happen considering I was a minor, and I would see the assistant manager taking food from the freezer and putting it in his car. He also would ring up people at my register while I cleaned the bathrooms and the tables. I was the scapegoat because the owner was too cowardly to confront the manager and instead tried to blame a 13 year old girl. Everyone knew that dude was stealing. The store is shut down now. Karma always wins.

Before 16: babysitting the neighbors’ kids and mowing lawns

16: dishwasher at a sandwich joint, which then turned into a sandwich maker
