Probably my MacBook in 2023. It cost over $3000 but I didn’t pay it off at once, just did monthly payments.

If we’re talking payments at once, then maybe my iPad in 2021? It was $899 but I bought a smart case and after taxes it came out to about $1200.

I said "unless you drive a bus". I have a 24 Tuscon, a 23 Outlander, and a 08 Pilot and they all go to the dealership for service on schedule so I'm very familiar with costs. Again, $1000?!
