I was in 2nd grade, got to stay home from school for the verdict. Everybody was happy he got off, that shyt like watching the Super Bowl.

I was in the 4th or 5th grade at that time. It was wild. Our teacher rolled in a damn tv in the class for us to watch the verdict. It was a nearly all black school, so everyone was jumping up happy.

I was in elementary school. The class was listening to the verdict on the radio. It was me and one other black kid, and we both started to cheer when the verdict was read :deadrose:

My whole family was cheering. My dad don’t smile often during that time but he was cheesing. My mom was crying tears of joy. You couldn’t tell anybody in that house shyt. I was in a somewhat mixed school then. The teachers were bitter af.
