What we must do next to keep an American democracy

I think one of the more 'democratic' things we can do is re-vamp the voting system.

I'd really like to see it online where people can vote from the comfort of their home.
-No reason for low voter turnouts if its made more convenient.
-Verify people by license/passport/social security #.
-Put ballot question on there with links to research the topic so people are more informed of the initiatives
-fukk the electoral collage. Switch it to popular vote. If more than 50% of the country wants someone for president, states rights shouldn't supersede that.
-I'd also throw out a blind vote where you can't see the candidates name/party but you can see the issues they stand for/against and you vote with data rather than emotion.
