I usually start at ShopStyle for Fashion and Designers - Shoes, Jewelry, Dresses & Clothes search what I'm looking for and branch out from there. But it probably helps that I always shop with something or an outfit in mind.
If I'm just randomly searching/browsing I usally go to:
Vintage Clothing, Cute Dresses, Indie & Retro Women's Clothing | ModCloth
ASOS | Shop women's fashion & men's clothing | Free Delivery & Returns
J.Crew - Cashmere Sweaters, Women's Clothing & Dresses, Men's Clothing & Kids' Clothing
Ralph Lauren: Shop Men's & Women's Clothing, Shirts, Shorts and Swimsuits.
Ebay is also another good resource.
Tip: Always check RetailMeNot: Coupon Codes, Coupons, Promo Codes, Free Shipping and Discounts for Thousands of Stores for coupon codes.
I've actually cut back on a lot of my online shopping by doing vintage now though.

Have you tried Men in Clothing - Etsy Vintage ?
Vintage - Urban Outfitters also has some nice "vintage"/urban renewal things at times.
I like their basic desert boot, my bf has some and they look so nice with his fits. This is a women's pair.
If you like one that is a little more feminine, they have ones with wedges

I like Clarks, but I'm more of a saddle shoe/oxford type of girl.
Getting more into loafers and smoking flats/tuxedo flats as well.
