What went wrong? He can't rap on beat 
I don't care if he's a pimp or what, I am trying to hear rappers rap, not talking over the beat like it's Cash Money song intro with Birdman talking over the beat.
If you go to a restaurant and the chef overcooks (or in some cases undercooks) your food that you ordered, it's not a new specific way of preparing your favorite meal, it's just the chef sucks.
