Nier Automata, the despair in that game had me feeling some type of way.
Each ending got progressivelymore bleak. When 9S loses his mind I felt that.

Good point. That game has stuck with me as well. I just started HZD, so glad I put that one off until Ghost of Tsushima was done. It does sound weird that this game (so close to the end of PS4) would stick out the way it did.
Pretty much the entirety of Persona 5. That music 
Playing it early months in advance learning Japanese along the way
FFVII Remake. shyt had me glued to my chair. Probably my best experience this year alone.
TLOU 2 The game was amazing especially once you first encounter the WLF.
Uncharted 4's Madagascar chapter. The set piece was mind blowing.
Mario Odyssey New Donk City.
Detroit Become Human was really good.
Danganronpa V3. I was so into the story trying to figure out what was going on and who was the mastermind.

uncharted 4 started off so fukking dope to me that the rest of the game “paled” in comparison...I’m exaggerating a little but man did that game start off crazy
