My Step-Dad builds computers and told us nothing was going to happen. He laughed about it because nikkas really thought it was the end of the world.

I personally thought that I would wake up to flying cars and people using tubes as transportation like they do in Futurama. Boy was I mad when that bum ass car my parents had didn't start flying.


Now that I think about it, we kinda still go through tubes as transportation and it's called the Subway, lol. I was nine by the way.

As for that day, I was nervous as fukk but after the ball dropped, I went back on the dreamcast playing soul caliber. :yeshrug:2000 was a wack year compared to 99. That was when shyt got really corny.

Eating sweet potato pie and collard greens while watching some PPV special with Prince. Went back & forth between that and playing Tekken 3 on the Playstation. Everyone in middle school was bugging about Y2K.
