Was the straight edge/in-house type kid, all my life.

First time I was really "hung out" was when I got a job and played baseball. I just stopped caring about school. Never got in trouble and was a smart kid, but, I had no passion for school, anymore.

I actually wanted to go to art school.

I went to a good high school, and I remember in all my classes people were stressing hard over getting into the top schools. A chick in my honors math class got a 2100 and she kept taking the test over and over again like . When she didn't get valedictorian, she almost had a nervous breakdown (started a petition and everything)

I didn't know what I wanted to do after high school, but college was not on the short-list. Until I got my scholarships and grants, I was thinking about just taking my savings and traveling (would have been a terrible, terrible move in retrospect ). I only decided to major in engineering because I realized the being black and going into one of those fields and staying in state would get me through college without paying shyt besides living expenses

I stayed this long because the classes became challenging (still are ) and I want to get paid afterwards.
