At that time most Black wrestlers were treated the same (if not worse) than how they are today. Outside of Doom Harlem Heat and The Nation there was nothing back then when it came to Black wrestlers actually being looked at as more than "enhancement talent". This shyt burned the soul even though I liked Owen as a performer I just knew the ending was coming...

I was at that Raw...first time Raw aired from Hampton (across the water from WCW homebase Norfolk). And this is a racially charged area. I thought it was great. Plus I never liked fukk ass Ken Shamrock.
