What will it take for African Americans to become one nation?

Some kind of national tragedy or other culture-shifting event only affecting the people that knocks the complacency out of a lot of folks and exposes how the world really works.

That would honestly get the ball rolling.

Yes we can become one nation. Our institutions need to be owned by us on it's own land powered by electricity owned by us and we need data centers owned by us sitting on land owned by us. We can build a helluva infrastructure for our one nation.

Black people bought into integration as an achievement and organize their political dealings around compromise to remain in that system.
