People acted like comparing them to Wu-tang was such a sacriliage but I understood it wasn't nessecerily about the talent but the collective...and I rocked with it on that level. Even if they had the talent to be that, they wouldn't have had the same impact in today's climate with the pool of artists being so much better. It would be easier to guage their impact if they had come out 5-10 years earlier but you can def see their influence and the talent that has come out of that camp.

Agreed. I think Frank, Tyler & Earl were the only ones to actually "blow up".

Syd is doing great things with The Internet though

exactly.... nobody is talking about them right now... you think anyone will care in 20 years

frank will be the only one to survive if he ain't about to get hit with that jewish black ball and he don't even care to mention them nikkas or put them on his album

"Tyler slept on the sofa yeah, nikkas go back that far"

Im partial to mellowhype but obviously Frank, Tyler, and Earl are the biggest stars. Odd Future kinda reignited an interest in alt rap. With the music, clothing, and tv show...i think most people will remember them for "setting black people back". Although, I find nothing c00nish about it at all.

Over the top/cornball angst rappers who, mostly appealed to the alternative, suburban, hipster, "I'm so different" weirdo crowd

Better to reign in Hell than serve in Heaven

He thanked Tyler for helping with the album
Earl and Tyler were on the first album, Tyler co-produced Pink+White and produced Skyline To
ok i was wrong about that... i'm not sure how much that's going to help tyler out or odd future

i guess i meant that... unlike wu tang, blonde doesn't seem like an odd future release

they should be all over each other's shyt... at the least some sort of big ass "odd future" logo somewhere... all this talk and HUGE buzz for frank, hasn't translated into shyt for odd future.. nobody is saying "oh odd future back" none of them had some memorable feature on it.. nobody showing up in the videos like "remember us nikkas"

frank will continue on this path and keep rising... again... unless the jews get him

tyler will be an underground thing with college kids and skaters and shyt

nobody else, earl included, do i see "blowing" and making some long lasting impression on rap.. they had that chance when jay-z and every other label was begging to sign them... that buzz is over now unless frank about to be their method man and carry nikkas for an album cycle or two

I don't think they function as odd future anymore. Even if they still work together, I'm pretty sure they technically broke up.
