I'm 24 but I never really had any serious arguments over game consoles but in the 9th grade nikkas was talking shyt about my Gamecube .... Nikkas was getting on my Animal Crossing game Other than that there never was(at least around me) any serious arguments.

Yea I agree with OP. This gen and the banter is light compared to 20 years ago. shyt use to break down to race. Thats how serious it was during those 16 bit days

Breh. My moms got me Animal Crossing for christmas cause it was on my list, but my dad didnt see it till I unwrapped it.

I was pumped, and my family was happy to see me happy. Well, my dad was until he saw what I had unwrapped.

Real shyt tho, it came wit the memory card so I was hyped. I loved that fukkin game. The console war was real, fam. shyts still real. Even though we're grown, no matter what if I'm talkin video games and they're reppin another set....discussions get started.

Me and this nikka use to argue about Mario vs sonic.

Mortal kombat almost started a fight.

From what I remember when the NES came out (3rd GEN) there wasn't too much competing with it and also I was like around 4 or 5 so maybe I didn't pay attention. I don't include 1st or 2nd gen because who the fukk cares consoles to me were abysmal pieces of shyt at this point.

But i've represented in the following wars

3rd Gen NES by default

4th Gen Snes vs Genesis = Genesis

5th Gen Sega Saturn vs PS1 vs N64 = PS1

6th Gen Dreamcast vs Gamecube vs PS2 vs xbox = PS2 and Dreamcast

7th Gen PS3 vs Xbox 360 vs Wii = PS3

8th Gen PS4 vs Xbox One vs Wii U = PS4

For real I didn't start fukkin with pc's until I had one that was able to play an SNES emulator decently. Now I usually run emulator and mmorpg's on there.
