My biggest fear is that I realized this past weekend, I might have to give up on my dream of being a commissioned officer if I ever want to move from where im at now (which I REALLY want to do).

:damn: What do you do breh? Do you not enjoy it?

Procurement manager. All managers at any level start at 80k and get a 10k raise the first two years. shyt is sweet and I like what I do. It's just in two years if I decide to leave for whatever reason it's gonna be hard as shyt to command that money. I'd assume. I don't plan on leaving tho.

wow, what a terrible problem :childplease::pachaha:

Wasn't no humble brag lol. But keep in mind I live in DC. So it's not as much money as say ATL.

I definitely wasn't complaining about the money more about one day feeling like I'm tied to this job because of my pay and not being able to retain the same pay somewhere else. Thus essentially becoming a prisoner to this company

Making the transition from being a young rich nikka to being an old rich nikka, no joke.

It's easy to live comfortably when it just you, rent, car, etc. Nothing major. But what happens when you wanna start paying a mortgage and you have no solid credit history and you can't show a solid legit income.

Watched my mentor go through it around 29, I'm 23 and trying to get situated before that.
Buy cash or get someone to get the mortgage. You have to show paperwork for everything to banks these days. Start an entity sooner than later to be legit.
