Ray Lewis in 2000. Even that wasn't enough for them mvp. Not that even I would've voted against Marshall Faulk. Still though, there's just no realistic way for it to happen.

again, texans won the division in 2012 and were the third AFC seed behind only broncos and pats. only two teams had a better record than texans' 12-4 (broncos and falcons) that year
jj watt had his most productive season in his career so far in 2012.

and he didnt make it even in the top 3 IIRC

i think its possible for a defensive player who also returns punts/kicks.

if a DB could have a

6 INT
2 kick return touchdown season

sprinkle some forced fumbles/pick sixes/recoveries in there and maybe. nah probably not

Oh ok. Possible, but in this day and she it'd be tough. Only 2 defenders ever got the award.

As great as Watt is his teams not gonna win the division because they don't have a QB

Lets be honest: theres very few good teams that don't have good QBs to by default theyre gonna win most MVPs. Its the most important position in sports
