What would be the reaction if NWA's EFIL4ZAGGIN came out in this climate of #metoo?

The production on the album was dope but there was a big difference between this album and Straight Out Of Compton. Mainly because Cube wasn't around since he did a lot of the writing.

I don't think there would be much outrage if this album was released in this day and age.

Production was amazing but in retrospect that album was goofy as hell.

I will say Appitite for destruction is still a classic regardless though.

Eazy Verse :wow:

To this day I still think it’s the best produced hip hop album of all time. But as far as lyrics that second half has no redeemable qualities whatsoever. Once Cube left they went from having a semblance of social consciousness to just being an over the top caricature.

If the album dropped today it would probably get more flack from black people than white folks, especially black women. One Less Bytch is just :picard: If Dre dropped that song today combined with him beating up Michele and Dee Barnes his career would be over

Having said all that the album still goes hard af, especially these joints
