I've walked out. I just didn't feel like dealing with shyt. I was a supervisor of a call center (5 years ago) and I was just having a bad day I was only there for like 2hrs. I just stood up and walked out.

I had never missed a day or called in sick and I rarely ever used vacation since I had the perfect shift.

I came back a day later nobody said anything it was like I never left. In my mind I think they thought either I had the day off or had vacation for the rest of the day or so. Ironically I walked out of that job and never came back (good fukkin job but I wasn't happy like mentally and emotionally so maybe I hated that job. But its was really easy. There's nothing easier than walking in kickin it for 8hrs then leaving and getting a check deposited every week.)

My last five jobs (when not trying to build my own businesses) have been dishwasher, construction, mover, grocery store bagger, stocker... so this is why I've constantly thought about walking out on my jobs.
