People in here shyttin on Romo havent watched enough cowboys games to understand that the whole team chokes and that it is impossible to achieve success when jerry jones is your gm

What's funny is that people are totally disregarding a lot of things about the actual team concept of football...

Dallas defense for the last two and a half years has been terrible,,,i mean...in this season alone...the defense got 6 turnovers in one game and Eli still through for 400...they got 4 turnovers against the Lions and Megatron by himself had over 300 yards...but I guess that is on Romo...

Felix Jones got fat and stopped caring...There is a timer in my house that gets reset every time Demarco Murray comes back from an injury...so it can count down to his next injury...tanner is pretty much the Martellus Bennet of running backs...Cowboys haven't had a real running game in going on 3 years...

People get caught up in the "Tony uh-oh" narrative and completely skip over the fact that all these other quarterbacks don't enter crunch time of a game until maybe the last 2 drives of the 4th quarter...meanwhile Romo has had to be damn near flawless since the 2nd quarter because his defense is making Ponder look like a pro bowler...It's funny how Brady is looked at as "clutch" when he has pretty bad numbers when he either has to win or tie the game...and isn't New England consistently a top 10 running team....seems like no matter who they through back their or how many backs they use at the end of a game they end up with over a 100 yards...

Man my girl was watching the game with me Sunday and she was like "Damn this Ponder dude is really good? How come I never heard of him like Manning and that other dude ( she always calls Brady "that other dude")

Romo's HOF status will be very interesting because if he just keeps going the way he is now he is going to be top 15 all time in yards...completions...and possibly touchdowns...

SB or he doesnt deserve to be in there.

He is the reason for a lot of Dallas wins but he is also the reason for a lot of Dallas's losses. Similar to Rivers! they can both win games but at the same time they will almost always fukk games up with dumb decisions at some point.

This is confusing. When was Romo even considered a top tier elite QB in his own era?

Out of the QBs playing today Manning, Brady, Brees, Rodgers would all get in before him. That's before we even look at guys like Big Ben or Eli. Dudes never lead the league in any meaningful category, isn't a monster stats wise relative to players in his own era. Hasn't won any major individual awards. Hasn't done anything in the playoffs.

It's too late in his career for him to make major waves stats wise. He'd have to find a lot of playoff magic.

How long has the league been this pass happy?

How long has Romo been doing it?

Laruent Robertson, Patrick Crayton, Miles Austin, Jesse Holly Fucc with Romo and he'll make you somebody :wow:

Romo is well on his way to a seventh straight Top 10 season in passer rating. Only these 6 QB have more:

13 Montana
13 Manning
11 Brady
8 Dawson
8 Fouts
8 Young

This is why i said 1 lombardi and hes in. We can argue that by the time his current deal is up he"ll be behind only montana manning and brady. You dont accomplish this by being some scrub qb like a lot of you on here and the media portray him to be.

Hey Cowboy fans, the next time u wonder why no one on here takes you serious and why everyone think you are a joke, look at this thread as an example why everyone thinks that. TOny Romo is not near HOF quality...
