I grew up with 2 cats. They were assassins. They killed everything they could...birds, squirrels, snakes, rabbits, even fish that swam too close to the edge.

Yeah, like I said, often cats aren't hungry or don't want to be bothered. The cats were chilling and the rat walked up all hyper and aggressive and the cats didn't want to be bothered. It's not like the rat did any damage.

If they wanted to, they could've cracked his spine with one bite. It's the same concept behind why they tell you to punch a shark in the face if it swims toward you. The shark sees you're not easy prey and might leave.

That's disgusting. I had a tiny mouse in my room a few years ago and I didn't sleep in it for weeks. I wouldn't even stay in the house with a rat that size.

I see them big ass rats running in the subway all the time. I saw a damn possum run across the street one night when I was walking home too.
