A lot of them didnt come to the states to play AAU ball though. They came to get paid in the NBA and they've taken a lot of the elite status from American players.

Black dudes not from America are foreign, and they're not growing up playing AAU or if they do it's later in their development not from like 10 years old. SGA and Giannis are black, no one ever indicated this was all about Luka and Joker.

That's because the foreign stars are all from different countries. At the end of the day the US still has to biggest talent pool, this country has more people those smaller countries.
But if you had it where it was USA vs World, or even USA v Europe, it would get spooky. Because right now you got Giannis, Luka, Joker, playing with scrubs internationally for countries much smaller than the USA. Now what if they were all on the same team?
No it's not, Giannis is a big part of these conversations starting as well. And the convo predates all of them. Were Luka and Jokic star players when Kobe made those comments in January 2016?
