What would you guys think about a Dancehall sub forum?

I would post in there but I honestly don't think it would get much traffic..I think a dance music forum in general would get way more traffic..instead of making the lounge as a one top shop for all genres it could be used strictly for hip hop discussion

Might as well post. It's not about the traffic it's about the music. A small group with a lot of interest can still make a good thread/forum/site

I used to listen to it religiously, but I can't stand the music coming out of dancehall now.

Long gone are the days of Sizzla, Capleton, Buju, Bounty. I miss it, but I got enough old stuff to keep me bless. Hell, Sizzla alone got like 50 albums

I'm definitely into the older stuff way more than any of the new music coming out...

By the way I heard this song on the show that I can't find. Its a female artist and in the track she says something like "Ya think u Beyonce? Snap ya fingers and have any man ya fancy". Something along those lines. U know what song it is?

I used to fukk with dancehallreggae.com forums but that site has fallen off.

Dancehall and Hip Hop have a lot in common. Sometimes I see Dancehall as Jamaican Hip Hop more than anything.

Are there enough posters in The Booth interested in Dancehall for it to have its own sub forum?

I haven't really followed the genre much for the last few years but I consider myself a fan. Growing up in London is really when I started messing with it. I guess we could also add Reggae and Dub to that forum.

What do you guys think?
