PSVR is gonna be meh.

NX isn't coming this year. shytty thread :camby:
Uhh nah the PS VR isn't going to be trash. It may not sell like hot fire or w/e, but it being trash?? Nah not even remotely. As long as it a lot of games get VR support, it'll be dope.

So far we know of Driveclub, Tekken 7, GT Sport, Project Cars, Final Fantasy XIV etc.
Seems like it'll end up getting a lot of support.

Have you seen the games they've shown?
lets see the AAA games I played on PSVR and they are the true next gen games

RIGS is awesome AAA experience and the graphics are great once you get in that dam mech, your world change

EVE Valkyrie Once your ass get to experience space dog fights from the cockpit you will shyt your pants and it looks pretty damn good as well

Battlezone pretty damn good as well.

I have played these games in PSVR and VR is on another level.

PSVR support will be just like kinect. It will be shoehorned unnecessarily into traditional games. And games made from the ground up will be low budget. A fighting game and VR doesn't mix unless you had full body 1to1 movement to go with it. It's probably just spectator mode or some first person mode that will be trash to play.

Cockpit games will be cool,'but that's it. We won't be getting a full fledged fallout, COD, Madden, etc game on VR.

Kinect was a MS product subsidize by MS and asking for Devs to make a mode, feature or game for XBOX. 1 device 1 platform period.

PSVR is part of a consortium of VR creators(HTC and FACEBOOK) what do they have in common. MIDDLEWARE CREATORS Unity/Unreal Engine 4/ Crytek Engine these are the leading Middleware creators who have said that our middleware aligns itself with all 3 devices for easy porting for all 3 devices, with the caveat the PSVR will have lower resolution and framerate(in some cases) as well as some graphical downgrades. This is why you see all the time x game is coming to rift/psvr/Vive we see these announcements all the time.

This is why I never understood the "support" argument.

When you see AAA GOTY material on VR then we can talk. Until then VR will be a novelty and only good for "cockpit" style games.

Meach just meaching.
VR is a paradigm shift. 2D to 3D.
To compare it to kinect is laughable. That was simply an alternative control scheme which wasn't even necessary.

VR is a whole new perspective, a whole new way to be immersed. It's like comparing watching a video of a beautiful horizon with 360 gyro controls...to actually being there. VR is like the next logical step from that.
