Lamb is disrespectfully underrated :damn:

It's supposed to be lamb unless you specifically order a chicken gyro.

I fukks with em though. I fukk with the street meat on the reg. When I worked in midtown I used to get sick like once a week off the habit.

Shawarma is Middle Eastern, Gyro is greek.

Gyro and Shawarma were both directly influenced by Turkish Doner kebab but Gyro is %100 Greek in origin.

I know food breh:manny:

In the U.S., Gyro is a combination of beef and lamb, In Greece it's pork or chicken.

Döner kebab > Gyros

That shyt is :ohlawd:


edit: And gyro in greece is 90% of the time made of pork

I've eaten gyros all over NYC, downtown, halal guys on sixth ave, a couple spots in queens and I'm telling ya right now

NO GYRO SPOT IS TOUCHING THE GYROS FROM JIMBOS ON 125TH AND AMSTERDAM

Don't go to any jimbos go the original spot on 125th and Amsterdam

Idk where they get they lamb from but my god its so juicy and tender. I'm telling ya man. go to Harlem and cop it from that spot specifically you won't be dissapointed
