yall gotta get the meat where it's slabs of lamb stacked on top of each other, not that solid block of processed meat that's probably 99% filler and 1% lamb.

I make lamb gyros quite often and the seasoning I use is, olive oil, oregano, salt, pepper, tomato sauce, shyt load of garlic, rosemary.

The white sauce is really simple, just plain greek yogurt, really thin cucumber slices with the water drawn out by salting it, olive oil and garlic

We have a food truck that comes to my office once a week that serves gyros.

The meat is disgusting.

This nikka eating gyros out of a food truck.

Cmon man, you know how long food be in those trucks marinatin? Coming out all moist and sweaty and shyt. Do yourself a favor and get some authentic, fresh shyt. Then talk.

I was thinking of including them in this tjhread but thats a different ethnicity all together so I said fugg it. There was a spot beside my university crib that sold those and falafels. So succulent that chicken was. My goodness. Their pizza was divine too.

I tell yall,

I love that shyt, but the Turkish doner kebab in London shyts on gyros, man that's probably the best food on the planet. Gyros are good too though. Fallafel!!! Mannnn that shyt there is hard body, it's basically chickpeas fried in some ball, delicious. I hit up the mederterannian (it's actually Arab) buffet and do damage. Humus in Detroit, off the chain! I see falafel's but have never tried emn. What is in them exactly. Are they the ball things? Like the kouftas?

Fried chickpea dough. Almost like a meatball made with chickpeas. They could be the best vegetarian food in the world. :ehh:
