They said they are building a monorail from The center of the city, all the way to las Americas and eventually they will extend it to the airport. My pet peeve though the place needs better sewers and drainage for when it rains hard.

But the city and its near by places are advancing at a fast pace they just built a highway from Ciudad Juan Bosch to San Luis which used to be a
"Batey" (country ghetto)
But now they have lots of buildings , colleges. Institutes. Etc etc.

That´s the DR for you made the place fly as possible sell shyt to tourists and developers while letting the infrastucture turn to shyt.


Yes drainage issues and lets not even talk about a Tropical depression yes it´s super rare for a hurricane to hit but I was there when fred fukked up Boca Chica.

That´s why I fukk with Piantini Lights barely flickered since the local elite live there no sewage issues there.

Again build a Monorail without putting drainage pipes near the sea dominican brehs.

Nah breh it has gotten worse, even on nice places like Buena Vista, Piantini, and Naco they are having drainage issues when storms hit. And you know the island gets a lot. They also messed up the colonial city by remodeling and messed up the drainage. So that affected the whole city.

That´s insane add millions of new tourists but don´t worry about the stress on the sewers. Even on an aircraft carrier we were concerned about sewage issues as this pipefitter said 6000 asses shytting simutaniously is an issue in SD you got over 5 million asses shytting (not counting tourists) and they´re unconcerned.

They also borrowed all this money from the US government and its why they couldn't wven say no when Trump wanted to park all them jets at the airports in DR.

The new government (since 2020) is being ran by ultra rich people that only care about lining their pockets, they spend a lot on publicity when they do something ,they are hiring corrupt city planners from Spain that don't know shyt about the population boom and the extra traffic. Government agencies and entity's don't communicate nor work in tandem. Its a mess right now.
A super rich Lebanese /dominican MF was in charge of the National insurance company (sorta like medicaid) and embezzeled billions off it. They just jailed the MF.
