Got back into Persona 4 Golden as well.

If I wanted to get into the persona series, could I jump straight into 4?

It seems every one is playing these games but me =\

Yep, it has its own story with only a few references to Persona 3.

It's a little dissapointing since I had such high hopes for it.

It's not a bad game, but the gameplay is not as smooth as I would have hoped for. I wonder how it plays on the PS4...I will download it on the quad tomorrow to see what's up.

My recommendation? It's worth checking out, but definitely wait on a sale or when it pops up on a PS+ freebie.
