I fully expect 3 breakdowns at minimum. But if those new gpu rumors are true, I think it can be done. I'm not buying 4 cards though. 3 is my max. Now I just gotta decide if I want x99 or z97. z97 is winning right now, but I want those extra cores x99 has to offer. They're completely useless right now, but for some reason I want 6 cores Maybe it's my high expectations for dx12. We'll see. I'm not pulling the trigger until new cards come out (though that does mean my current parts will continue to lose value ). I'm excited though breh

Meach, you gotta understand that the most intensive games don't count for a lot of people on here. They get mad when you bring them up. The unfortunate truth is that you gotta have a top-tier card to play most games at ultra 60fps right now, thanks to the new systems (they fukked up the game with the shared ram). Nobody wants to tell you that, cuz it makes the PC seem weak, but it's the truth. I'm about to buy 3 gpus to play at ultra and 45-60fps in the future....3! And these will be top of the line shyt. Granted, I'll be gaming at much higher resolutions than 1080p, but you need serious hardware if you wanna game at ultra 60fps at higher resolutions. Some games even need serious hardware at 1080p, but then again "nobody plays those games." A mid-teir card is good for most games, but not all. It's just the way it is. You can look a performance benchmarks to back that up. It is what it is. It'll be a few years before mid-range cards can murder games like they did during the mid to late cycle of the last gen of consoles. PC gaming is in a transitional period thanks to the new consoles. It always happens. The landscape has changed.

I'll help em out: "nobody plays console ports on pc," "ubisoft is a terrible company and nobody buys their games," "you're computer must have viruses on it or something," "I've been doing this for decades, you even had your computer built at Fry's, you don't know what you're talking about," blah blah blah

Simple research shows what we're talking about, but then they'll say you can't trust those benchmarkers. There's always an excuse. Some PC gamers are just very insecure and don't want to admit to any flaws in pc gaming. Not all of them though (I gotta caveat everything now apparently....)
