Right being the MINIMUM. Isn't gonna give me better performance than a console. And its gonna take hella tweaking/updates/optimization. To even get stable frames.


The problem is all the conflicting narratives y'all throw out.



On one hand its "PC Master Race" "900p Xbox

Then its "buy a budget machine"

Then its "PC gaming is plug in play easy"

Those three narratives can't co-exist. For plug and play easiness you need a beefy PC and to get a beefy PC you can't go with one of those budget joints y'all be recommending.

people should spend what's within their budget. obviously you can get something nicer for more money. but the point is you can still enjoy PC gaming with a 'budget machine'. you can also see what PC gaming is all about, and then decide to invest more. you can also pirate a bunch of games and then complain shyt wasn't easy enough for you

Might cop a 970 for my PC...but then again my 270x is still holding it down. Maybe I can hold on to that and see what AMD cards will be dropping. Haven't had any issues with my 8320/270x combo thus far.


Might just stash it and pay for these classes instead. Haven't decided, which is probably a good thing.

Why would anyone game on a PC when consoles exist? Who has the time and effort to build a PC when you can just cop yourself an entertainment system for your living room with a console for literally half the price?

Yeah. That's my main thing...nothing really gives me a sense of urgency in regards to upgrading. My 270x ain't no slouch, but at the same time, I bought it simply due to my budget and it being my first PC build. It's still giving me great use but the 970 just looks so alluring.

Plus both my brothers getting 970's in their builds so I don't wanna be the weak nikka out of the bunch.
