Well, that plating is going to rub off in a month and it will be very noticeable. It's a nice style, but it's a cheap watch. A lot of smaller watch companies retail watches for outrageous prices then offer these type of sales. Just look at Groupon. They had a watch on there that supposedly retailed for like 800 bucks and was selling for under 100. It's just part of the game.

I always go with a reputable brand name because you're almost sure to get a sold finish that wont wear down for quite a while. My girl just got me 2 nice ass Bulova's. One for V-day, and the other was kinda just because she thought it was a nice watch earlier this year.
