Not into watches, have one Burberry watch I wear maybe once a month. I like Michael Kors, have button ups and a t shirt or two, but the watches I've seen, glancing briefly in display cases are really tacky and gaudy, it's odd because the clothes are do dialed back. Would not wear a gold watch either.

But the whole point of wearing a Gucci watch is to show off your money. That is why the Gucci name is in the front for you to see clearly. If you spend $1200 on a watch, and you think you can get something cheaper, you shouldn't even be looking at it. The whole point of wearing it is to show people you have money to spend, and think nothing of how you spend it.

I think the watch is banging because it's different, yet simple, so you can get fresh with it if you know what you're doing. Plus, the look attracts attention, so once the chick see that it's Gucci, then she looks at everything else you have on, you are letting her know you are not the average joe. If you have on that watch, but have on other regular shyt on, even if it's name brand, you are just letting her know you spent all your check on the watch, and just fronting. Of course this depends on the chick. A regular chick might not know the game, but a chick who knows how to hustle will pay attention to EVERYTHING.
