my favorite method man album- besides the skit- it was a lot of great music to me. the skits really wasn't long at all but it threw off the flow the album. method man blacked on this- and had so many dope wu-producers on it to me. to each its own though

i love this album, always have. could understand Cradle Rock/Retro Godfather/Break Ups not being favorites, but everything else was really dope. True Master and RZA's shyt was amazing, good additional stuff from Havoc, Deck and Sermon. 4th Disciple got screwed out of a full credit for the title track, Meth wasnt a producer. and honestly Break Ups wasnt bad for the single, Meth had already had a little bit of a chick audience, thought the beat was smooth and D'Angelo is obviously a great get for any hook
guests were on point, i think the anticaption for the album caused some people to want almost too much

Rappers were dropping double albums and shyt, it was basically who could make the most bloated album it seemed.
Redman had like what, 22,23 tracks on muddy waters than another 23 on docs the name.
Doggfather had like 21 tracks and came out in 96, so yeah mightve been one of the first.
Like everyone's said, remove the skits, some of the beats were a little sparse/bare bones & a couple of songs could be kicked off, but, overall, a really dope album.

One of the biggest let downs for me personally. Not because the music was horrible but because it wasn't Tical, which is one of my favorite albums ever. If it was named Method 2000, Mr Meth, Ticalion Stallion, or anything other than 'TICAL 2000' it would have been fine. That's why I hate when rappers do a sequel of a classic album.

It didn't help that it was sandwiched between two dope Wu Solos around that same time.
That same year I know, Cappa dropped The Pillage which was surprisingly dope. Then this came,
and it wasn't as good imo - then RZA dropped Bobby Digital. Meths album was sandwiched by two
projects I fucced wit' waaaay more.
