It wasn’t one particular year, it’s been a gradual decline. I remember waking up and going to sleep watching Sportcenter, sometimes multiple times. Now I’m pretty sure I didn’t watch one full 30mins show all last year.

The show’ has declined but honestly it was inevitable. I get all the scores, highlights, trades, etc on my phone in real time. By time it comes on, I already know everything that they are reporting on

That’s why there’s so many different answers in here. As a kid I’m sure most people here watched ESPN all day, every day. But once we got older we realized there were more important things in life, and watching ESPN all day was mostly a waste of time.
