The 11 Majors With The Highest Unemployment Rates

Most people need at least a Masters in Psych before they can actually work in the field of psychology. You need more knowledge on a graduate level to fully understand and help the mentally ill. However, there are still jobs out there for those with a BS in psych, but they have to be aware of what types of jobs they can get. A lot of people I know with a BS psych degree are actually working in social work.

All The Way One Hunnid
Is it better than getting an MBA with a finance concentration for someone who wants to run a bank or a casino?
Um, running a casino probably has more to do with your tribal affiliation than it has to do with your degrees. As for banking I think you'd benefit from getting an MBA but I think that too has more to do with positioning and luck than just getting an MBA.

Only way I'd get an MBA at this point is if I were paid to do so.

URM with over a 3.5, great EC's, and over 150 shadowing hours. As far as studying for the MCAT there's no need to do so when it's a year away. 3-5 months prior to study and my stats are fine. And if I don't go? I'll pursue a PhD in dreaded Psych. Since the topic of discussion was unemployment, it was fitting to let it be known that I would be eating well with a MD or not in a field I enjoy. Don't you worry about it, breh.

:whoa: calm down bro. Im not your dad so I could really care less what you're doing. It's obvious your defensive about your major and all but real talk a 3.5 gpa in psych doesn't mean shyt. Major in a core science and med school admissions deans will be far more impressed. Take it from someone with intimate knowledge in the subject. But you seem like someone with all the answers so I'm sure you'll be fine. ...:heh:
