Mortgage: $608
Car + life Insurance: $320
Cell phone bill: $150
Utilities + Cable+ Internet+Alarm: $400-500

My monthly expenses are very low, I pay all of my shyt with my commission every month and still have gas money for the month left.

Last year I snatched in a little over 90k but I work two jobs, I'm on pace for over 100k if I keep meeting my sales quota.

You save the rest on some TFSA type shyt or do you invest it?
Some I Invest (gamble) in my tfsa. So both combined lol. If I hadn't lost $5000 doing stock option gambling I'd have like 20k saved up right now. Such is life

Right now I have about 7k in my savings account and 6K in my tfsa...which is comprised of 2k cash and shares in 4 companies. It would be all in shares but j sold some during that brexit foolishness and honestly the market /us dollar is at such high levels I'm not sure I wanna hold many us stocks

yea i remember you telling me you lost a bit of money a while back. i'm investing some of my savings but it's less than a quarter - and it's also super low gain/low risk investments too.

5K is nothing though. If you save aggressively you could get that back in a couple of months. We look like we are on par as far as money management goes.

the $400 a month for food seems a bit steep though. eat out less and cook more. you could cut that spending in half.

i can do that more now that the commute is shorter but honestly...regardless I think 400 is fine for me. I have a decent appetite, like to eat good and I like to snack. 13-15 dollars a day on food to me is reasonable. It's one of those things I've just accepted. Ima be spending money on food, clothes and drink.

that's fair, it was only a nitpick because in all honesty you have a good balance as far as saving and spending is concerned. don't sweat it.

just know that if you are ever in a jam and need to curtail expenses you could save a few hundred bucks just cooking your own food.
