he's a mod who has powers in tlr

Well as I already explained in my PM, he is biased and unfair in his use of power. There have been a lot of complaints about him.

What does he need to do before you guys do something about his shytty modding?

@Mowgli - interview question: what should be the course of action here?

As part of the inner circle there is information posters are and are not privy to that determine the course of action on a case by case basis. A rule of thumb though is to not take complaints from people who may be considered trolls or annoying seriously. In this case i would do nothing until comlaints were becoming widespread and there was an obvious deterioration in board quality due to a moderator at which point (if i were the boss) we'd have a group dialogue and make adjustments if needed or just privately laugh at the clowns that have the nerve to speak ill against a particular admin.

Bought a hamster. Fed it meth. Hooked the wheel to a battery and jumper cables to my laptop.

Long story short, my laptop burst into flames and the hamster went apeshyt and fukked my feet up. I'm locked in the restroom posting from my phone right now :mjcry:

Are you saying I'm one of those annoying trolls? That is quite a laugh coming from someone like you @Mowgli

@cook The proper course of action would be to take the complaint seriously and speak to the mod in question.

Waiting till the board has deteriorated would be worst course of action. You would loose posters, gain trolls, and on webforums a deterioration like that isn't something you come back from. I'm sure the colis history will attest to that.

Horrible suggestion @Mowgli. What doctor waits till the patient has succumbed to a preventable disease before taking action?

Im not saying that. There is a process that happens to determine if action should be taken. Ive seen it. There are obvious gross violations in the form of abuses of power that require immediate action and then theres deciding whether or not the voice of a few people is worth making large reform. Most mods in popular forums are going to have critics.

Moderators work together to do whats best for the board, at least they are supposed to. If you feel someone is abusing their power and complain but traffic is good, the mod is following the rules(as in doing what the owners ask of him) and the rest of the board are largely not complaining about this particular mod, its doubtful hes going to be removed unless the owners, who make the decisions, decide to do something proactively.

Personally, i cant say ive really butted heads (pause) with midwest and all the shyt i talk is largely unfiltered in the forums i choose to post in so, i cant say i have an issue with how he moderates, as a user. :manny:

@cook. GIve me your bullshyt. :blessed:
