I bumped Bubbas first joint more than any Eminem CD. His 2nd one Deliverance is a classic, I don't care what nobody says, dude brought that out of his heart.

He lost his way when he tried to keep up with how the south was changing with that Ms New Booty record. Bubba was a country boy from the beginning, he should have stayed in that lane.

I left Interscope [in the early 2000s] and signed with Virgin Records in 2004. During that time, about 2003, I had developed an opium addiction. It really came to a head in late 2006 — at the height of "Ms. New Booty" — I began going to treatment. I was at the depths of addiction at that time.

I saw him a couple months ago in Pensacola. His new stuff is ok. It's still traditional Bubba music and not too country or rockish, surprisingly. I will say it was the smallest concert I've ever been to. If you say the video of Freeway performing at an empty show, it was like that. His opening acts were all white rappers too. That was weird, lol. Never saw that before.
