Seeing that fight the other night and not seeing his hair sticking up anywhere in the background with a smile and waving the American flag, almost seemed un-natural.

He always came across as a happy guy even though he PERSONALLY has 2 legitimate bodies :damn: (one of them was a dude he stomped to death over $600 :merchant:)

And who knows how many other bodies he's been involved with.
King has been investigated for possible connections with organized crime. During a 1992 Senate investigation, King invoked the Fifth Amendment when questioned about his connection to mobster John Gotti.
:whoo:

[King] threatened to break Larry Holmes' legs, cheated Meldrick Taylor out of $1 million and then threatened to have Taylor killed :damn:

these lawsuits: :wow:

- King was sued by Lennox Lewis, who wanted $385 million from the promoter
- Larry Holmes has alleged that over the course of his career King cheated him out of $10 million in fight purses
- Mike Tyson sued King for $100 million
- Terry Norris sued King. The case went to trial, but King settled out of court for $7.5 million

Mike Tyson says of his former manager, "(King is) a wretched, slimy, reptilian motherfukker. This is supposed to be my 'black brother', right? He's just a bad man, a real bad man. He would kill his own mother for a dollar. He's ruthless, he's deplorable, he's greedy ... and he doesn't know how to love anybody."

He's 83 years old now, so I guess he physically can't do anymore dirt and has faded into the background

It's not that long ago he was running around saying he was the one who could get the Mayweather/Pacquiao fight to happen.

For all of the cheating he did of fighters and all of the fukkery associated with him, Don King did A LOT for the popularity of boxing and its promotion. As a hustler, this mufukka is unmatched. He legitimately created the Rumble in the Jungle out of NOTHING.

He's still involved with boxing though. I remember him being around for the Wilder-Stiverne fight.

He pretty much came straight out the penitentiary and set up that fight.

I once met someone who dabbles in boxing promotion and has worked with Don King. As of 5-10 years ago he was still scheming..... scammed my dude out of a milli :whoo:

at this point, he's probably just robbing people for the love of it. He don't need the money.
