I was wondering the other day if he was promoting any noteworthy fighters and I was drawing a blank.

It seems like Goldenboy and Top Rank have pretty much everything sewn up.

do u believe that is positive or negative for the sport of boxing?

I'm not a regular watcher of boxing...I only watch when the big fights come up.

The only real negative in boxing in my view is that sometimes we don't see certain fights because negotiations fall apart. I'm not sure how the titles can become more meaningful. I don't think one governing body fixes everything. If you look at UFC, there are still fighters that will not fight one another and a lot of the fighters are underpaid.

Don made his money in the HW division. That is who he appeals too.

Problem is that there is no big American HW, and hasnt been for the last 16 years. The best HWs are in Europe and are controlled by Frank Warren in the UK or shady ass Germans.

GBP and Top Rank gobbled up the smaller fighters and that is why Don King is no longer relevant.
