Hillary Swank won an Oscar for this role. Funny he named his album that. The movie deals with Homosexuality and Transgender. As for what happen to Frank. "SUCCESS". He's won multiple Grammy, got that Gold plaque, got on hit singles. Now he has to do the hard part with is that follow up album. The good news for Frank is he has some powerful friends. Yes the "Bi" thing hurt him over the last few years as far as his female fanbase. The reason a lot of RnB singers who we thought were gay never came out is cause they didn't want to lose that female fanbase. There has been rumors for a ton of RnB singers including Sisqo and Llloyd as well as Neyo. He'll be OK though as soon as he drops new music.
