I came up at a time when it was damn near blasphemous to say that, but this album is just
the album was his zenith. perfect street & commercial (at the time...would damn near be hardcore, today) mix. his flow had been mastered. complexity/simplicity of rhymes...everything. i always say, illmatic was the more important album for the genre, but iww was the most well rounded. its a record on there for every mood.
